  • Holds a bachelor’s degree or higher. Teaching Credentials preferred.
  • Has 2+ years of teaching in the elementary classroom
  • Is skilled in collaboration with parents and colleagues
  • Is familiar with basic principles of Islamic Creed

Development Coordinator

The Development Coordinator participates in the development and execution of fundraising campaigns and programs promotions targeted at existing or potential donors and prospects and provides general administrative support.


Supports the efforts of the Development Team and Principal to coordinate fundraising activity including direct mail, special events, and personal solicitations.

Drafts communications, delivers messaging, makes appointments, and coordinates marketing activities that extend across multiple channels such as internet, mail, telephone etc.

Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.

Updates donor management database and produces quarterly reports

General Administrative Support:

Provides primary administrative support to Principal including: maintenance of Smart Tuition and fund collection, financial records from Smart Tuition, correspondence with delinquent families, and answer general questions from parents regarding their account.

Teacher reimbursements and minor accounts payable support.
Sets up and coordinates full range of activities for meetings and events including: development meetings; event coordination meetings; Town Hall meetings. Specific responsibilities include agenda; logistics, and all related correspondence. Provides administrative support during meetings including preparing and distributing timely agenda and minutes.

Qualities and Requirements:

B.A. or equivalent
2 years experience working in an office or similar setting
Highly organized and able to multitask
Comfortable with public speaking
Comfortable working with Google Drive, fundraising CRM, and similar programs
Ability to work in a team with positive attitude
